PLEASE READ: The good reviews on this Bear Creek Nursing are written by employees. Please scroll to page 2 and read the real reviews. I am writing to share my deeply troubling experience at Bear Creek Lodge Rehabilitation in Grapevine, Texas, where my father was recently placed for recovery following a hospital stay. Our time at your facility revealed a shocking lack of adequate staffing, basic care, and oversight — conditions that no family should ever have to endure when entrusting the care of their loved one to a professi... read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONSIDER THIS PLACE!!!!! My husband of 67;years was sent to Bear Creek Lodge after a hospital stay. I have never in my life witnessed such poor treatment in a place that is supposed to help people heal. My husband went days without any physical therapy. I only found out six days later, during our first meeting with the social worker that he had not even been given a bath. His medications were given hours late, the nurses excuse was they were caring for 16 patients at a time. They did not have enough he... read more

I was a patient at this rehab and received terrible healthcare. This rehab has a shortage of nurses. The food is horrible. Many times during the night I would call for help and no one would come. When my wife tried to get me dismissed early they threatened us if we left that my insurance company would not pay the bill. Took the faculty 6 days to give me a bath. I would proceed with caution before I left a family member here. This is not a place to leave someone you love. Please trust me!

My father-in-law was placed at this facility due to his HMO coverage, and the experience has been nothing short of distressing. The staffing level was dangerously inadequate—one nurse for 16 patients—which made it impossible for anyone to receive proper care. He was only bathed once in 7–8 days, a basic hygiene need that was completely neglected. Even more alarming, his medications were given at incorrect times, potentially putting his health at serious risk. The food was of very poor quality, lacking both nutrition and dig... read more

This place has helped my boyfriend's father, 91years old, to walk again. We transferred him from Tennessee so he could get the excellent care this facility provides. The staff is amazing and truly cares. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs care. Special shout out to Christine, Shontay, Moses, Joe, Mark, Aldan, Sue, Amanda, KeKe, Linda, Tawanda and Ella. Thank you all so much for caring and getting Jim back on his feet.
