My mother was there for a few years, i loved the care that was provided for my mom. The staff went out of there way to make sure my mom was as comfortable as can be. Thank you Pleasanton North for all the hard and dedicated work yall do to care for these residents.

Recently moved a relative from this community to a much more friendly and caring location in Texas. Experience at Pleasanton North was far less than stellar. While there, the family member/resident’s health declined to include a fall resulting in surgical repair of a hip. In addition, the 6’2” resident was placed in an ill fitting wheelchair and atrophy was exacerbated. May 8-2024 Update Celebrating our 58 anniversary Wife is doing extremely well here. First couple of years was hard to get her out of the bedroom . Now the staff has her at the cafeteria most of the day . She is very active now and there's days when I call that she is to busy to talk which I find fantast. Staff is great , They go to great links to learn each person there . Wife has been in for over 2 years now . Her Dementia had gotten very bad . She was in sever pain from several problems. My mom has been here at Retama North for several years now and my dad and I are very pleased with the care the staff has given her. They are always very friendly and helpful to us. Many times while I have visited her different staff members have come to talk to her and they always let me know how much they like and enjoy her. The staff also Is very good about letting my dad know if there are any problems or issues going on with her and they stay on top of them. At one point both of my parents were in this facility. My mom has passed but the care they gave her up til her last breath was amazing! The care and love shown by all of the staff during this time was so much love for her and for our family. My dad is still a resident and knowing that he is taken care of is what gives me peace to be able to live each day. I feel free to come at anytime day or night. It’s like a family here.
